Marine transport management company Wallem Group has appointed Luis Benito to the position of group business development and marketing director.
Benito brings to the role his more than 30 years’ experience in the global shipping sector with Lloyd’s Register where he worked in marketing, strategy, research and innovation as well as holding the roles of BDM and GM in Korea and, more recently, customer service executive partner in Japan.
At Wallem, Benito will work closely with its Ship Management, SeaSafe, Ship Agency and Commercial Services businesses to deliver innovation, product management, marketing and sales strategies. Wallem’s business development, marketing, brand, and communications teams will report directly to Luis.
Jeremy Edds
Maxam Tire - United States
US specialty tyre manufacturer Maxam Tire has promoted Jeremy Edds to the position of SOTR (solid off road tyres) and national account sales director.
Edds joined Maxam in March 2023 as aggregate national accounts sales manager.
Beginning his career in the tyre and service industry from the age of 17, Edds has amassed a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. He holds a diploma from AC-Delco automotive technical college and an ASE Master Tech certification and has worked in tyre sales in the mining and construction sectors.
Hanna Falk
Instabee - Sweden
Swedish-headquartered logistics company Instabee has named Hanna Falk as its new chief people and culture officer.
Falk has broad experience managing people and culture issues within the IT and telecommunications industries and has worked in similar roles with a logistics chain and, most recently, with a game development company.
Instabee CEO and co-founder Alexis Priftis says Falk makes a great addition to the company.
"She is an experienced leader who comes in with strategically important experiences and she will be the key person who drives the work around our employees and our culture forward,” Priftis says.
Instabee was founded in 2022 when logistics companies Budbee and Instabox merged into one entity, servicing six European countries including Sweden, where Falk will be based.
