Mark MacDonald has been named as the new president of Columbia Machine’s palletiser division, replacing Pat O’Connor who is retiring after 12 years with the company.
MacDonald, who joined Columbia in 2015 as applications engineering manager, has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Missouri School of Science and Technology and an MBA from St. Louis University.
Prior to joining Columbia, Mark was an applications engineer at GKN Aerospace and purchasing manager at Duke Manufacturing.
A planned leadership transition has already begun with O’Connor, who joined the company in 2011 as the business development manager of the division and became president in 2014.

Joseph Mikiewicz

Joseph Mikiewicz has been promoted from general manager to president of Action Lift, a materials handling supplier based in Pittston, Pennsylvania.
Mikiewicz is a graduate of King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He has been with Action Lift for more than 34 years.
William F. Medico will remain the company's chief executive officer.
