Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Natasha Solano-Vesela as global airfreight director - perishables.

In this newly created position, Solano-Vesela will be responsible for the strategic development of the perishables division within the global airfreight product.

Czech-born Solano-Vesela has 25 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector, most recently at Maersk and previously for almost 12 years for Kühne+Nagel as global director business development perishables air logistics.

J. Michael Binnie

Clark Material Handling Company - United States

Clark Material Handling Company has appointed J. Michael Binnie as chief operating officer and chief administration officer for its North America operations.

In this role, Binnie will oversee daily operations at Clark, working closely with the company’s dealer network

Binnie has more than 30 years of experience in various industries and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
 

Holger Schmitz

Clark Europe - Germany

Clark Europe has appointed Holger Schmitz the new business development manager and tasked him with expanding the company’s European dealer network.

Schmitz completed a traineeship at Clark in 2000, which led to a permanent position in the internal sales department.

Most recently, Schmitz was country manager at Doosan Industrial Vehicle Europe, responsible for managing German branches as well as the sales activities in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and Eastern Europe.
 

Niki Frank

DHL Global Forwarding - Singapore

DHL Global Forwarding, the freight specialist arm of Deutsche Post DHL Group (DPDHL Group), has appointed Niki Frankas chief executive officer, effective 1 July.

Frank, currently chief executive officer of DHL Global Forwarding South Asia, will replace Kelvin Leung, who is retiring after more than two decades with the company.

Frank began his career at DPDHL Group in 2012, joining as vice president of corporate strategy. Since then, Frank has held various leadership positions, including as chief executive, India.
