CFTS has appointed a new training manager to ensure that members across the country have access to accredited, in-depth training courses.
Kevin Michel recently joined the organisation and will be providing on-site Thorough Examination, Thorough Examination revalidation, and Thorough Examination manager courses to members mainly located in the north of England, as well as those in Ireland and Scotland.
A qualified mechanic and engineer, Michel worked at Hinckley College teaching apprenticeships before becoming a director at the F-TEC training centre where he taught all kinds of work equipment courses.

Herman joins GEODIS from CBRE Group's Supply Chain Advisory Asia, where he was a senior consultant. His previous career includes running Puma Energy in Indonesia; leading contract logistics and business development for CWT Ltd, and various management roles in ocean carrier Maersk. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience from working across many industry verticals.

Flight Systems Industrial Products at the end of this year, after 35 years of dedicated service.
Bowman has been the driving force behind FSIP's success and growth over the years, while developing many partnerships with electronic and vehicle manufacturers. He has managed the FSIP business with strong leadership to provide quality customer service and products, along with growing their OEM alliances.
Effective upon his retirement, Pam Jones will assume the role as general manager. Jones has been with FSIP for over 13 years as director of sales and marketing, along with serving on the executive management team.
