Konecranes Plc has appointed Ryan Flynn as executive vice president and head of its equipment business area, starting from 1 June. Flynn will be a member of the Konecranes Group executive board and will report to president and CEO Pekka Lundmark. He has been vice president of strategy and business development at BlueScope Steel's Global Building Solutions unit since 2013. In 2005-2013, Flynn was based in Shanghai, China as senior vice president, head of Asia Pacific and director of port cranes and lift trucks for north east and south east Asia for Konecranes Plc. He has previously worked in Johannesburg, South Africa at NFS Industrial Machinery (Pty) Limited, Afinta Motor Corporation and Standard Bank.??
