Ian Pemberton as managing director, Australia, from 1 April. He will succeed
Tadashi Koike, who is returning to Tokyo to take up a new assignment in the company's headquarters. Pemberton will be the first non-Japanese managing director of Yusen Logistics' Australian operations. He joined NYK Logistics, now part of Yusen Logistics, in the UK in 2004 as a business unit director. In 2008, he transferred to Australia as general manager, business development, and in 2009 was appointed director, sales and operations, and a member of the board of directors. Before joining NYK, he worked for TNT and DB Schenker.

Lee McCarthy as dealer manager. He will develop the company's international parts sales through expanding and developing the IPS Parts Partners network. He will be the chief point of contact for official IPS Parts Partners. McCarthy has worked in the automotive industry as parts manager for Audi and Peugeot.
