Aschaffenburg, GermanyThe supervisory board of Linde Material Handling GmbH has extended the contract of CEO Theodor Maurer by another four years. Maurer will lead the company until 2016. Gordon Riske, the board's chairman, credits Maurer with successfully navigating Linde through a severe economic crisis over the past few years.
"Together with his colleagues on the management board, he has developed growth initiatives that will sustainably safeguard the company's success in the long term," Riske says.
Maurer joined Linde Material Handling as sales director in 2008, following an executive assignment in Daimler AG's commercial vehicle business. A year later, he was appointed CEO and chairman of the company's Management Board.
Northampton, United KingdomFormer Fantuzzi general manager Alex Beddow has joined Doosan UK's management team as dealer manager. Beddow will help the company's network of UK dealers to assess and meet customer requirements, and support them in achieving sales targets and major account prospecting. He has over 20 years' experience in the materials handling industry. Before joining Doosan, he spent 16 years with Fantuzzi, working his way up to the role of general manager, heading up its UK operations.
