KION North America Corporation has made several changes to its nationwide sales and service dealer network for materials handling equipment.
 
To increase its presence in Mexico, KION North America has added Inter Price Logistica to its dealer network. Based in San Luis Potosi and with six additional branch locations throughout Mexico, Inter Price Logistica will offer Linde Class I, II and III equipment.

As part of the company's long-term growth strategy, KION North America has made two additional changes to its distribution network in the United States.

Changes include additional territory within New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania for Liftec, in recognition of its "history of strong performance in terms of both sales and service".

"The southern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania areas represent mutual growth markets for both us and KION North America," says Tom Sylvester, executive vice president of Liftec Forklifts. "Serving this new area, coupled with the introduction of new Linde models, we feel the future is bright."
 
In addition to its existing region in Maryland, Baltimore-based Matthai Material Handling has also had its territory extended, with the addition of Delaware and a portion of southeast Pennsylvania.

"We are confident they will continue this same standard of excellence as they expand into these new markets."

In addition to expanding its dealer network and North America presence, KION North America will continue introducing new models to its product line over coming years. With expanded reach and a more complete product line, KION North America is positioning itself to build and maintain a stronger foothold in the North American materials handling equipment industry, according to a company statement.
