Make your forklift more efficient with telescopic lift truck forks

In many cases, forklift trucks drive around inside warehouses with just one pallet on their forks. Distribution centers, in particular, are becoming larger and the distances covered by forklift trucks are increasing, resulting in higher costs per pallet. With telescopic KOOI®ReachForks such as manual extension forks, the forklift forks can be easily extended and the forklift driver can pick up two pallets. The manual extension forks are always available because they remain mounted at all times and do not have to be removed from a location and mounted like "loose fork extensions." For the forklift driver, this is a huge improvement because pick-up and mounting take valuable time and the "sleeves" are heavy.

Of course, a heavier forklift must be purchased which also consumes more energy but even then the cost per pallet is estimated to be reduced by ±20-30%. Why not make your own ROI and be surprised.

Manually extendable forks stay on the forklift truck permanently, saving time, space, and money compared to traditional fork extensions (outer sleeves). This mechanical option is lower in cost than the hydraulic fork which makes it ideal for low-usage applications.

Why not two pallets per forklift? KOOI®Dual-Pallet Handling

The manner of adjusting the outer sleeve is highly innovative. It simply involves moving a pin (which also serves as a grease nipple) sideways, causing the locker to be retracted. As soon as the locker is disengaged, the outer sleeve can be moved using the other hand until the locker engages again at a different length.

  • Remain mounted on the forklift truck so they are always available for the driver.
  • Lightweight construction that is extended easily to a variety of lengths.
  • Innovative outer forks which cannot catch tensioning straps.
  • Eliminate safety risks and inconveniences typically associated with loose extensions.
  • Closed locking slots protect the locking pin.
  • Fast extension in just one simple movement by moving a pin.
  • No hydraulic parts.
  • Low maintenance costs.
  • No loose parts to adjust the length.

Of course, there are other applications with the manual ReachForks such as loading and unloading trucks or when different pallet sizes need to be handled. Especially when long pallets need to be picked up with short standard forklift forks, the load will fall forward and pallets and goods will most likely be damaged. KOOI®ReachForks are available as manually extendable as well as hydraulic forks. With the extendable ReachForks, you are more efficient and drive less damage and save money.
