Aschaffenburg, 3rd February 2025KAUP GmbH & Co. KG (KAUP) presents a new Fork Positioner at the LogiMAT 2025: the T466C. For many years, this type designation has stood for the most frequently produced Fork Positioner at KAUP; the ‘C’ for the fundamentally revised, latest version. In Stuttgart, KAUP will also be showing the latest version of its rotating bale clamps. This type of attachment has also been further optimised in recent times.

At its three previous LogiMAT trade fair events, the mechanical engineering firm focused on the latest drives and smart systems. In contrast, KAUP is once again focusing on hydraulic drives. However, ‘without losing sight of current developments in the industry,’ as managing director Holger Kaup emphasises.

Major facelift for success model

“The T466 is one of our successful models,” says Holger Kaup, “and to ensure it stays that way, it was time for a major facelift.” That's why KAUP design engineers worked on crucial details. The most apparent result: Significantly improved view through the Fork Positioner. They also optimised the synchronism and sliding properties of the T466C. With the facelift, sustainable components are also being introduced, and installation on forklift trucks will be easier in the future. What’s best: The technical data, such as overall width and opening ranges, remain unchanged. And the price of the T466C also remains the same. “A better machine for the same money,” summarises Holger Kaup.

The new T466C Fork Positioner is available to order now. “We have already made the changeover to the new T466C with the publication of our current price list 01/2025,” says the managing director, “so that deliveries of the new versions can begin immediately after LogiMAT.”

Roll clamp for the first time in Stuttgart

Present by KAUP at LogiMAT for the first time: a T458B Rotating Roll Clamp. These attachments have been part of the machine manufacturer's product range for many years. “We are convinced of the quality of our roll clamps,” emphasises Holger Kaup. Nevertheless, the product family has been further optimised during the logistics trade fair run-up.

The most visible sign: The new colour of the clamping arms. These were black in the past, but they are now red so that the clamping arms can be seen more clearly when the rolls are picked up. Less obvious is the modular rotary transmission, which combines numerous functions. It makes it possible to easily modify the clamp on site, even retrospectively, from 45°/90° control of the clamp arms to a sequence valve control.

Another new feature is the optional 180° rotation limit for roll clamps. This allows the T458B to move more gently into the precisely defined 180° end position, thus protecting the roll to be transported and avoiding damage, for example, to the outer paper layers.

In addition, a competent and experienced KAUP field representative is dedicated to the topic of roll clamps and solutions for the paper industry; this person will provide advice not only at LogiMAT in the future but throughout Germany.
