Thieves have got away with two seven-ton Caterpillar forklifts, leaving behind a trail of destruction.
The forklifts were stolen from Kirby Agricultural Ltd in Thrapston Road, Spaldwick, according to The Hunts Post, and the thieves escaped in the forklifts, crashing through fences in their way.
Kirby manager Paul Williamson told the newspaper this was the first time forklifts had been stolen from the site in his 15 years of working there.
"We had only taken delivery of them a month ago and had lined up a buyer and were waiting for them to be collected. We will now have to find replacements."
One of the forklifts has a yellow and black pallet fork carriage with JCB Q-fit brackets. The combined value of the forklifts is GBP60,000 (USD119,580).
