 Liftace 4532 TCE5 |
Production of the Liftace reachstacker line has been halted in France and will move to Sweden.
This follows Terex's sale of its MHPS business to Konecranes in 2017.
Konecranes has announced the launch of the Liftace 4532 TCE5 as a replacement for both the French-made models and those made in China.
In line with agreements with the trade unions and staff association, most of the employees at Montceau-les-Mines have received redundancy packages.
The new Liftace 4532 TCE5 promises "the same quality, standard and benefits (customers) are used to, with some extra perks added", according to a spokesman.
The new model is equipped with an Optima cabin, a box-type chassis and a wide drive axle with a long wheelbase.
Smart systems integrate with Konecranes Truconnect Remote Monitoring.
"Every enhancement that we make to a Konecranes lift truck is based on customer feedback," says Patrik Lundbäck, director and head of sales and distribution at Konecranes Lift Trucks. "Our customers love the Konecranes Liftace reachstackers, and with these upgrades we are improving their safety, productivity and cost effectiveness. This strong, compact and reliable machine is there to meet all our customers' needs."
