Chicago-based materials handling automation specialist Macrovey has entered into a strategic partnership with Spanish industrial robotic company Kivnon, to distribute its products through the United States.
Kivnon's product portfolio includes autonomous forklifts and pallet stackers which can be integrated with other technologies for warehouse and inventory management.
“This collaboration directly addresses the increasing demand for automation driven by the need for cost reductions, improved safety, and higher productivity in the US manufacturing and logistics sectors,” a statement from Kivnon reads.
“Macrovey's established network and deep market knowledge will facilitate faster market penetration.”
Macrovey’s director of business development, Danny Pierce, says the partnership is a good “fit” for both companies.
“Macrovey believes that Kivnon’s products and services perfectly fit within the automation solutions developed for our customers,” Pierce continues “Macrovey’s cutting-edge technology along with Kivnon’s innovative products, will bring added value to customers looking to automate systems.”
Kivnon's latest collaboration follows news in June the Spanish AGV manufacturer had partnered with German-based Tap to distribute its automated equipment through Europe.
