KION Group has entered into a strategic partnership to distribute the pallet shuttle systems produced by Italian manufacturer Eurofork, throughout the EMEA.

KION’s sales and service teams in the EMEA will now be distributors of Eurofork’s E4CUBE plug-and-play shuttle warehouse system which can be adapted to various configurations using standard modules.

KION Group, in a statement says of the partnership: “Pallet shuttle systems are an efficient form of storage with high flexibility, continuous material flow and high throughput rates".

“Automated shuttles travel independently on rail systems through the racks and transport palletised goods to the picking station,” the company continued. 

“E4CUBE can be easily configured with standard modules for individual customer solutions and is operational within a few months. In addition, the system ensures the traceability of goods and offers a high level of operational safety.”

Eurofork chief executive officer Maurizio Traversa adds: “Our pallet shuttle automation adds substantial value for customers and having KION teaming up with us for the distribution of the E4CUBE will enable access to easy automation for a wide array of companies”.

Eurofork was founded near Turin in Italy in 2000, specialising in producing materials handling equipment including pallet shuttle systems and telescopic forks.
