Finnish materials handling equipment manufacturer Kalmar will now distribute reachstackers with a capacity above 125 T following a partnership with Italian manufacturer CES Srl.
Prior to the partnership, Kalmar’s range of reachstackers had a maximum capacity up to 125 T.
Kalmar’s head of global sales of counter balanced equipment. Peter Olsson. says the partnership will allow it to offer a more comprehensive range of heavy-duty materials handling solutions.
“This partnership will enable us to better serve our customers, especially in heavy logistics, such as wind energy, heavy bulk handling and heavy container handling industries,” Olsson continues.
CES is headquartered in Domegliara, Italy and specialises in the design and manufacture of traditional and heavy reachstackers, which it says are unique on the market in lifting capacity and technology.
CES chief executive officer Giovanni Bolcato explains the partnership will allow CES to reach a wider customer base.
"Kalmar's global reach and expertise will enable us to reach new customers and markets, and we are excited to work together to drive innovation in the heavy-duty material handling industry,” he adds.
