Organisers of the ProMat 2019 show promised to "wow" visitors, and it seems they did just that. As we report, there was a very positive vibe at the Chicago show.
Our ProMat review dominates this week's newsletter.
The US materials handling event, which attracted around 45,000 visitors, is making a tilt at the 'biggest show' title, fast approaching Germany's LogiMAT which this year drew a record attendance of over 60,000 industry professionals from around the world.
CeMAT, previously the biggest event in the industry, is now out of the running, with no separate attendance figures available from last year's show which was incorporated into the giant Hannover Messe exhibition. An announcement about the status of next year's CeMAT is expected any day now.
