We report on some significant milestones this week. Firstly, German giant Jungheinrich has celebrated the 50th anniversary of its plant in Norderstedt, Schleswig-Holstein.
The recent celebrations were punctuated by the unveiling of the millionth forklift by the two daughters of company founder Dr Friedrich Jungheinrich.
Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. is celebrating 25 years of materials handling production and distribution.
And there's actually a strong connection between these two celebrations: MCFA distributes Jungheinrich-branded warehouse equipment and also has a joint venture with Jungheinrich AG that will manufacture industrial components.
Congratulations to the management and staff of both organisations.
