ProMat 2025 has wrapped up in Chicago, having achieved a record number of registered attendees for the largest intralogistics show held in North America (see story for more). 

This week Forkliftaction News looks at one of the big topics coming out of the event – the staggering under-utilisation of the data being collected across the materials handling sector. One industry player estimates that only 20% of the data being captured is actually being used; while many others consider this figure to be optimistically high. 

We look at the opportunity this presents for our industry to realise further cost-savings, gain efficiencies, and improved safety outcomes through data integration and use (read story for full details).
