Organisers on both sides of the Atlantic are basking in the glow of record events this month, with MODEX attracting almost 50,000 attendees and LogiMAT drawing more than 101,00 over three days.

MHI CEO John Paxton says MODEX exceeded all expectations.

For LogiMAT, which filled its venue last year, some nips and tucks saw organisers squeeze in another 2,000 sqm, taking the total exhibition space to 67,000 sqm.

The success of the two events demonstrates that trade shows, at least in the materials handling and logistics space, are alive and well.
