There’s a theme running through this week’s news: partnerships.

We bring you news of an American lift equipment manufacturer taking a controlling stake in an Italian forklift maker, as well as the teaming up of Swedish forklift attachment outfits and a forklift maker and an Li-ion recycling company.

And then there’s all the partnerships that emerged when a dog was discovered in a shipping container in Texas.

In this materials handling-adjacent story, the US Coast Guard, animal shelters in two states and an aviation company worked together to help a dog dubbed Connie the Container Dog.

Here’s hoping this fluffy dog story inspires more good deeds and helpful partnerships in the weeks ahead.
