While technical advances keep rolling on, some historical parts of the materials handling sector are being preserved. But that doesn't mean they're out-of-date.

In this week’s news German forklift manufacturer Jungheinrich opened a new cutting-edge factory, Raymond unveiled a new high-tech safety system … and Hyster celebrated the 70th birthday of one of its factories.

But while the Hyster plant is relatively old, its current focus is on supporting the transition to zero-emission port equipment. That’s about as technical and forward-thinking as you can get in this industry.
