Analysis from the UK Material Handling Association reinforces the macro trends we mentioned a couple of weeks ago: rising confidence, record order books and an inability to meet demand because of shortages and supply chain disruptions in the UK.
The association is buoyed by its Autumn Economic Forecast, and anticipates a bumper 2022 for manufacturers and vendors.
However, the convergence of strong demand, limited supply and rising prices may not be good news for equipment buyers who have to plan their purchases more carefully and consider holding onto their current fleets for longer.
