Industry Associations Extend Their Official Support to IWS 2012

Greater Noida: Many leading trade associations extended their formal support to India Warehousing Show 2012, scheduled for 26-28 April at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.

The Charted Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), India which is one of the leading associations of the logistics sector is now associated with the event. "We are happy to be associated with India Warehousing Show and congratulate the organisers for their initiative," said Dr.P.K Goel FCILT, secretary-general of CILT India. Similar is the feeling of Mr. R.K.Rubin, Secretary of Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India, who said "AMTOI is pleased to extend support to the warehousing show, and we look forward to visiting the expo and conference".

"The market for logistics has seen growth over a decade, and this trend is expected to continue. Forums like IWS will act as growth catalyst and shall facilitate it," said Mr. Amit Kamat, Secretary of The Federation of Freight Forwarders Association in India. Other domestic associations, Indian Private Ports and Terminals Association and AIDC Technologies Association of India have also extended their support. "Trade Associations are vital to mobilise the sector and to work for its development. It is encouraging that these industry associations have shown their support. The members have been invited to attend the show in large numbers" said Anuj Mathur, Director - Exhibitions, Manch Communications (P) Ltd. organisers of India Warehousing Show 2012.

Adding cherry to the pie, the show garnered contribution from leading international associations, with support from The Supply Chain & Logistics Group (SCLG) and Supply Chain Asia. The event is becoming popular, gaining global acclaim.
