Harsh work environments or environments with special hygiene or medical requirements call for special machines made entirely of high-quality stainless steel and designed to avoid contamination. Slaughterhouses, dairies, pharmaceutical and chemical companies are some the purchasers of Icem stainless steel trucks.
The stainless steel trucks are very similar to standard trucks in terms of line, size and ease of use, even if Icem pallet trucks actually feature several specific solutions that ensure the maximum compatibility with this type of work environment. Lubrication points on pins and bearings, wheels and rollers made from special polymers and protected functional elements of the truck (including the AC traction motor and the head control unit) are only some of the special features of these trucks, which can also be supplied with oils and lubricants for food use.
The structure and the parts of these pallets trucks, including the chains, are all made of stainless steel in order to ensure the maximum protection from the environment. All components are suitably protected. Maintenance is highly reduced and it is as simple as in standard trucks. |

In the trucks where the operator stands or is on a foldable platform, the accelerator and brake controls, the horn button and the rapid stop button are on the comfortable and ergonomic control head unit. The slow run button with raised tiller is available as an optional. In the versions with the operator on board and steering wheel driving, the controls are functionally positioned on a dashboard.
A large fork option is available.
In the stacker version with base forks, lifting is also possible in order to handle two pallets at the same time, thus reducing the working times.
Thanks to the versatility of the Icem pallets that are modular and where the driving unit is independent of the fork unit, hybrid versions are also possible, which helps clients reduce purchasing costs while still complying with the specific regulations of certain sectors. Icem can match, for instance, a painted driving unit to a stainless steel or hot zinc-plated lifting unit.
Trucks can be painted with special finishes for food use on request. |
