Hoist Liftruck's Hoist T-Series terminal tractor is the latest addition to their product line. The manufacturer announced their intentions of entering the terminal tractor market in early 2017. Hoist has since signed numerous dealers nationwide eager to include the Hoist T-Series in their fleets.

Dealers and customers alike have taken note of Hoist's innovative design, production capacity and special introductory financing plans. The Hoist T-Series features a Hendrickson air suspension and the most robust powertrain available, including a military grade AxleTech drive axle. Operator comforts and ergonomics are a central part of the Hoist T-Series design, like a fingertip fifth wheel switch (different from the industry-standard bulky lever), as well as an air ride cloth seat, which works with the Hendrickson suspension to absorb movement and vibrations to reduce operator fatigue and improve production. Customers can also expect Hoist Liftruck's Smart Screen Technology MD4 display inside every Hoist T-Series. The display includes diagnostic software capabilities, customizable settings and digital manual storage. Manual diagnostics of faulty fuses are eliminated with the MD4 display, greatly reducing downtime and therefore, saving customers money.

The terminal tractor line is a venture outside of the company's usual high-capacity lift trucks, although some of their products have worked hand-in-hand with terminal tractors in port environments. Hoist's container handlers, including the HRS Reach Stacker, LCH Loaded Container Handler and ECH Empty Container Handler, currently assist in transporting containers through ports, as well as intermodal and industrial operations. The Hoist T-Series has further expanded Hoist's port presence as well as give dealers a "one-stop-shop" solution.

Hoist Liftruck will be speaking about their new terminal tractor line at MODEX, booth 1660. Attendees are able to come by and learn all about the Hoist T-Series, Hoist's port presence and the new dedicated terminal tractor assembly line in the manufacturer's Midwest facility.
