Haulotte has expanded its network with the appointment of Matech as an authorised distributor in Tunisia.

This partnership will allow Haulotte Africa to better service the needs of customers on the Tunisian territory.

Matech specialises in the sale of premium-brand equipment and will be responsible for the distribution of all Haulotte aerial work platform ranges and after-sales service in Tunisia.

Didier Mertens, general manager of Haulotte Africa, is pleased with this collaboration, especially since the new distributor is active in sectors such as construction, mining and quarrying, handling and general industry.

“We want to strengthen our distribution in Africa with professional and reactive partners such as Matech. Its strong local presence, its in-depth knowledge of the market and the commercial relations we have maintained together for several years will enable us to reinforce Haulotte’s presence in Tunisia.

“Matech, with its long experience in the sale and service of Haulotte aerial work platforms, has acquired a competence that customers will be able to fully benefit from,” he says.

Matech’s technical teams have recently undergone intensive training to diagnose machines efficiently and respond quickly to malfunctions. The company will soon have its own stock of machines and spare parts to ensure fast deliveries and a high level of service.

Since its creation in 1999, Matech has grown its equipment business to the point that it is now the exclusive distributor  for Komatsu, Bomag, Sandvik, Toyota, Dieci and several other international brands.
