Hangcha's new lithium line-up

HC Forklift America Corporation has released a new full line of lithium-ion powered Hangcha materials handling equipment in the United States.

Hangcha has partnered with CATL, the largest global lithium-ion battery pack manufacturer, to build lithium-ion battery packs for materials handling applications.

The result is a full line of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) powered materials handling equipment that has been tested over 273 different times for safety and reliability. The range includes 16 new models in Classes 1, 2, 3, and 6, in addition to the five models that are already sold in the US.

The new models include three- and four-wheel forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks and tow tractors, from 1 T to 30 T.

According to Hangcha, lithium-ion technology has many advantages, including opportunity charging that allows the equipment to run in multi-shift operations, while rapid charging allows the equipment to be charged in as little as two hours.

The battery packs are totally maintenance-free and safe. They are also environmentally friendly since they don't use acid and there are no harmful drivetrain fumes.

The new models feature up to a 10-year or 20,000-hour warranty.
