Instock's autonomous mobile robot is the only moving component in its automated storage and retrieval solutionCanadian transport and logistics company GoBolt will integrate Instock’s automated storage and retrieval solution (ASRS) into its fulfillment centres.
GoBolt, which says it is building the world’s largest sustainable supply chain network, has nine fulfilment centres in North America and a mostly electric fleet of delivery vehicles.
Earlier this year, the company was ranked 113 on Forbes’ list of Canada’s best startup employers.
“In addition to advancing automation and improving efficiency for our brand partners, Instock allows our employees to dedicate their efforts to increasingly complex tasks,” says GoBolt co-founder and chief executive Mark Ang.
“This is not only a win for warehouse productivity and safety but also for employee satisfaction.”
Founded in 2020, Instock has developed an ASRS which has an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) as the only moving component.
The Instock AMR navigates between surfaces and levels by driving on vertical ramps and even upside down to move bins around the system.
