The Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) has just released the latest quarterly materials handling equipment manufacturing (MHEM) forecast.

The 50-page November 2002 forecast looks 12 months to 18 months forward to anticipate changes in the materials handling market and includes:
~ an economic cycle analysis;
~ analysis of leading indicators;
~ a National Association of Business Economists' forecast;
~ a capital spending analysis and summary; and
~ the MHEM forecast for domestic, import, and export markets.

The MHEM forecast is free to MHIA members, but a special MHEM segment brief, an overview of industry activity for the current quarter, is available free to non-members. Non-members can purchase the complete forecast for USD195 by placing an order through the MHIA's online bookstore at www.mhia.org.
