The Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA), in response to feedback from users of its website, has added a "Member Finder" search function, giving internet users the ability to search for products through FLTA's member directory.
The online system meant users could find FLTA members instantly, day or night, said FLTA chairman Brian Warbrick.
"Whether it's hire, purchase, service or spares, customers realise membership of the FLTA is synonymous with the highest levels of professionalism, competence and integrity," he said.
The Member Finder flags FLTA members in users' areas. If detailed information is required, selected entries offer a hyperlink direct to manufacturers or dealer websites.
