Taiwanese provider of power and thermal management solutions, Delta Electronics, has launched its new D-Bot series Collaborative Robots (Cobots) into the Indian market at the Elecrama 2025 trade show in India.

The 6-axis cobots have payload capacities between 6kg and 30kg and speeds as fast as 200 degrees per second, and have been designed for use in the materials handling, electronics assembly, packaging and even welding applications.

“D-bot provides precision, efficiency, and rapid deployment across industries in a broad range of applications that require smart manufacturing capabilities, including packaging, pick and place, electronics assembly, materials handling, welding, machine tending, and more,” the company states.

Delta's executive vice president of global business operations, Jimmy Yiin, explains India is “key market” for the company.

"We are committed to driving [India’s] industrial and energy transformation with our advanced solutions,” Yiin adds.

“Delta's strategic investment in the Krishnagiri facility underscores our dedication to local innovation, manufacturing excellence, and sustainability.

“Through this investment, we aim to strengthen India's self-reliance in smart manufacturing and energy infrastructure while contributing to global industry standards.”

At the trade show, Delta also unveiled its new 240kW DC Fast EV Charger and the Industrial Power-protect Transformer-based UPS into the Indian market.

Delta was founded in 1971 and is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. It has research and development centres and manufacturing facilities at almost 200 locations across five continents.
