Q. What are your company's products/services?Netherlands-based BS Forklifts International BV is one of Europe's biggest used forklift and container handling equipment wholesalers. BS Forklifts buys and sells used and new forklifts and container handling equipment. BS Forklifts' customers are forklift traders and dealers. BS Forklifts is a partner for European importers that supply new and used equipment.
Q. Give a brief history of your company's involvement in the materials handling industry.Twenty years ago, former owner Jan de Bruin started a company selling used forklifts. He travelled widely to build a network of relationships that formed the foundation of his business. The company's growth has seen it move four times. Five years ago, BS Forklifts moved to its current 20,000 square metre premises in Rammsdonksveer, in the south of The Netherlands.
Q. What is your company's current position in the regional market? How about globally?In terms of sales volume, BS Forklifts one of the top three European materials handling wholesale companies.

Since moving to its new location in Raamsdonksveer, BS Forklifts has been planninng to expand its business. BS is expanding its warehouse from 5,000 square metres to 10,000 square metres to enable safe, dry storage of used equipment. Larger capacity forklifts and container handlers are stored outside. Customers can see all BS's machines in one location. The premises are between the Port of Rotterdam and Antwerp, convenient for international visitors. The company website is available in nine languages, which are also spoken by staff in the office.
Q. Tell us your company's future plans.BS Forklifts currently has about 600 machines in stock. The company aims to have more than 1,200 in stock to offer customers better service. Outstanding computerised office systems and skilled staff ensure BS Forklifts will achieve its goals.
