24V AC Electric Lift Trucks
Cat Lift Trucks has launched an updated range of three-wheel, 24V electric lift trucks, now with AC power, comprising three models: EP10KRT PAC, EP12KRT PAC and EP15KRT PAC, providing lifting capacities of 1.0, 1.25 and 1.5 tonnes respectively.
The trucks are ideally suited to light-duty applications that nevertheless demand the optimum levels of acceleration, traction, speed and braking.
Superior AC technology achieves the best combination of value, running-cost, flexibility and productivity available today.
The AC technology simplifies maintenance and improves durability.
Its 500-hour service interval reduces downtime and results in even lower lifetime ownership costs.
In addition the motor's excellent regenerative braking extends the life of the brake drum, whilst improving safety through controlled roll down when the accelerator is released on slopes.

Adaptability
AC technology delivers stronger ramp performance and better acceleration.
The new EP10-15KRT PAC range also includes a built-in, programmable controller that gives the owner the flexibility to select one of the five pre-set application modes or adjust functions such as traction, lift and tilt individually to match the specific requirements of each task.
An intelligent monitoring system and self-diagnostic routine also allow the operator to ensure that the truck is running correctly and receives appropriate service checks.
The range also benefits from increased energy efficiency and a more powerful motor.

Excellent maneuverability
The EPKRT PAC lift trucks' compact footprint, combined with the single rear wheel drive, make these models specifically suitable in applications where maneuverability and space utilisation is critical, such as the narrow aisles of a warehouse, or a retail environment or other light duty applications.

User friendly
The EPKRT PAC lift trucks have a very ergonomic driver position with unobstructed, spacious legroom and low step height.
The lift trucks are equipped with an adjustable steering column and an adjustable full suspension seat.
They have an excellent all round visibility due to the open overhead guard structure and panoramic mast.
For added safety, the 'Presence Detection System' (PDS) prevents accidental operation of the truck when the driver is not seated.
Also there is a seat belt reminder icon on the display and an alarm sounds if the park brake isn't activated when the driver leaves the truck.
The display monitors the truck's performance levels and operational indicators such as truck hours, drive and hydraulic motor hours and battery discharge.
The hydraulic lifting, tilting and auxiliary functions are controlled by short levers that are positioned next to the operator on the battery cover, for comfortable operation.
The lever handgrips are ergonomically designed with in-mould symbols and the brake and accelerator pedals are positioned in automotive style for ease of use and stress-free operation.

Controlled performance
The EP KRT PAC range also has the new generation of AC controllers.
With the latest MOSFET and heat dissipation technology these controllers provide maximum performance and energy efficiency.
The in-house developed controllers are proven to be easy to service and provide high performance with great reliability.
