BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), is planning to introduce new additions to its range of zero-emission forklifts at the LogiMAT trade exhibition to be held in Stuttgart, Germany 31st May – 2nd June 2022. Visitors to BYD Forklift’s stand (Hall 10/G61) can expect to see an expanded range of industry-leading robust material handling equipment, all powered by the patented BYD Iron-Phosphate Battery.

Since the previous staging of LogiMAT in 2019, BYD Forklift has made significant enhancements to its award-winning forklifts in areas such as active safety, telematic solutions and charging technology. BYD has incorporated a wider range of material handling equipment into the total BYD Iron-Phosphate solutions, which once again are set to revolutionise the sector thanks to their superior battery capabilities.

Visitors to LogiMAT will be amongst the very first in Europe to see BYD’s latest solutions, as it is planning to put on display the new BYD ECB20S forklift and the SEF counterbalance range for their public debut in Germany. 

The BYD ECB20S, its latest three-wheel counterbalance forklift truck, benefits from using the same 80V platform such as the IFOY Award-winning ECB18C, together with advanced electric parking brake, the latest energy-saving Battery Management System, and a re-engineered hydraulic system. This fully-equipped workhorse comes with two battery options and allows operators to opportunity charge the battery for short intervals during breaks, ensuring highest levels of availability around the clock.

Finally, BYD will be unveiling tools that will help fleet managers keep tabs on their vehicles whilst also helping them to optimise remotely their energy use and battery management.
