JCB pledges support for Pakistan
Rocester, United Kingdom

JCB chairman Sir Anthony Bamford has pledged USD250,000 worth of assistance to help in the reconstruction program in the wake of Pakistan's devastating floods.
He will donate two high-specification 4CX backhoe loaders with attachments to the stricken country where the floods have left millions of people homeless and where rebuilding costs are expected to cost about GBP10 billion. It is not the first time JCB has helped Pakistan in times of natural disaster. After the 2005 earthquake, the company donated excavators to help in the clear-up operation.

It’s the year 2000. You’re in front of a boxy beige desktop waiting for the screeching ramblings of your dial-up to reach its finale.
