The new model replaces the previous generation A series model
HC Forklift America has unveiled a new electric lithium-ion forklift with a 3,200-4,000 lb. (1.4 – 1.8 T) capacity.
HC Forklift, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hangzhou, China-based Hangcha Group, says its new 80 V XC series three-wheel electric lithium-ion pneumatic forklift replaces the previous generation A series model and has longer run times, a lower center of gravity and a 50% larger operator compartment.
HC Forklift vice president of sales and dealer development Frank Russo says: “The redesign includes moving the lithium-ion battery pack into a lower position of the unit offering stability along with moving the counterweight inside the frame to reduce the length of the unit.”
Russo says the company is now working on developing new high voltage products.
Carolina Handling donates forklift

Carolina Handling has donated a Raymond forklift to a non-profit organisation that assists families in South Fulton.
Trucker's Safety, Support and Supply Fleet provides food and clothing for the homeless, and education and mental health services for children and adults.
The forklift donation by the Charlotte, NC-based Carolina Handling was coordinated by American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN), an industry-wide organisation that provides supply chain assistance to humanitarian organisations with the help of numerous members of the logistics community who donate transportation, warehousing, materials, equipment or expertise.
