ProLift receives ASEC

Toyota Material Handling USA has presented ProLift Industrial Equipment with the Aftersales Service Evaluation and Certification (ASEC) award for implementing a global quality program.
"We encourage our associates to suggest ideas to constantly improve the processes at our dealership," says Dave Graffy, president of ProLift Industrial Equipment. "We combine their continuous improvement ideas with the process and standards of the ASEC program to make our dealership run smoother, which gives us more time to focus on our customers."
The changes implemented include adding signs to be aware of parts order cutoff times, creating a process audit team, distributing a quarterly safety newsletter to promote awareness and shared responsibility of safety procedures, and creating a Wall of Safety. The dealership also scored 100% in nearly half of the sections that make up the ASEC program.

Europlatform points to new directions
Cologne, Germany
The Europlatform access rental conference will be held on 25 September at the Hotel im Wasserturm in Cologne, Germany.
Europlatform is a one-day conference targeted at senior and middle managers of rental companies with access fleets. It is organised by the International Powered Access Federation with Access International magazine as its exclusive media partner.
It will include presentations by industry experts, a roundtable discussion and closing comments from IPAF president Steve Couling. The conference will be held in English, with simultaneous translation in German and Italian. It will be preceded by an evening networking reception on 24 September at the same venue.
This year's theme is Positive Thinking: New Directions in Access Rental.
