Ballymore expands againPennsylvania-headquartered Ballymore Safety Products has acquired materials handling and storage equipment producer, Minnesota-based Valley Craft Industries. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Valley Craft is the fourth acquisition for Ballymore since 2021which it says “catapults the company into one of the largest, fully integrated safety, vertical access, and material handling products and services businesses in the United States”.
Valley Craft, which has been in business for more than 70 years, manufactures a range of materials handling equipment, including forklift attachments, carts, hand trucks, materials handling lifts, stackers and facility storage equipment.
Ballymore says it plans to invest in Valley Craft with its Minnesota 175,000 sqft. (16,258sqm) facility serving as Ballymore’s Midwest headquarters.
Ballymore, a portfolio company of New York-based One Equity Partners, designs and manufactures materials handling equipment, custom safety products and vertical access equipment including aerial work platforms.
