Attached Solutions recently marked its fifth year of operation in the Mexican attachments market, with managing director Vincent Locicero buying out his founding partner to take full control of the company.

Locicero started the business in 2016 with a unique approach: “We started out with a new concept in the materials handling industry - being a true advisor to the forklift distributors assisting the true needs of the end-users.”

Attached Solutions has been able to add value, he says, since the forklift dealers are experts in forklifts but not attachments nor in technology (IoT). “So we work closely with the end-users to understand their needs and work with the forklift dealers to provide them a full package solution.”

Since March last year, Attached Solutions has been the exclusive distributor in Mexico for Bolzoni.

The company works with clients to design bespoke attachments, especially for large beverage and paper industry customers. “First, we perform a site survey, present a report with our recommendations. Once we decide to make a tailor-made attachment, we work closely with the manufacturer, and build a demo unit to ensure proper usage for final customer approval.”

The company has experienced its share of hardship through the pandemic, prompting Locicero to take full control and keep his employees to “ensure we continued giving full customer support and to ensure when business came back we had the right people in place with the right skillset”.

With operations in Monterrey and Mexico City, Locicero has his eye on Guadalajara for future expansion.
