Asia Cold Chain Show ready to boost your networking potential

5th Asia Cold Chain Show (ACCS) 2019 will bring the entire gamut of the cold chain industry professionals to one place from December 2-4 at BITEC, Bangkok. The event will be spread over 7000 sqm. to welcome more than 5000 industry professional from cold storage, materials handling, temperature controlling and cold chain technologies.

ACCS is a must-attend event for supply chain and logistics professionals serving the food and beverage, seafood, frozen food, FMCG, cosmetics, agricultural, cold storage, pharmaceutical, retail and other end user industries.

"For the growing market like Thailand, it is most important that industries adopt the norms that are prevalent in international markets. Rising demands of end users push the logistics solution providers to stretch their own capacities and deliver high standards of storage, handling and transport while keeping the time lines intact. Asia Cold Chain Show provides the right platform to showcase technology and equipment, which can make the operations flawless and cost effective," explained Anuj Mathur, Managing Director, Manch Exhibitions Thailand. He further informed that the exhibition integrates a content driven conference offering an ideal forum where industry key professionals can share their knowledge, which in turn can be beneficial to entire cold chain industry.

In addition to Pharma Logistics Zone, Manch has launched Robotics & Automation 4 Food & Pharma Zone and Reefer Transport Zone which will provide visitors with a unique one-stop-shop for everything required in running modern cold storage. Not only will there be materials handling equipment - from fork lift trucks to automated logistics systems - but visitors will also discover innovative and cost-effective ideas in racking and shelving; storage solutions; health and safety systems; software; robotics and automation for food and pharmaceutical industry; cold chain transport and distribution solutions; industrial flooring; protective or thermal packaging; etc.

ACCS 2018 Show Highlights

The previous ACCS show attracted a total of 4,355 visitors, including 1,335 overseas buyers, from 32 countries representing world's perishable supply chain industry and included produce, fresh-cut flowers, temperature-controlled warehousing, pharmaceutical, food processing and manufacturing companies. The show visitors were from many industries including 17% from food and vegetable, pharmacy 6%, agricultural produce 9%, milk & dairy 7%, and so on. The exhibition saw quality visitors, enabling 46% of exhibitors to re-book onsite for next edition of the show.

"We are promoting our exhibition on national and international platforms. Concentrated efforts will be put in to bring cold storage owners, cold chain and logistics companies and end users industries including agricultural, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, retail, seafood, meat, frozen food, floriculture FMCG, milk and dairy," added Mathur.

Further, the concurrent conference Asia Cold Chain Summit will feature a variety of topics which would give an insight into the various aspects of modern cold storage, refrigeration and refrigerated transportation. Industry experts will lead a broad range of show floor educational sessions covering all aspects of cold storage and cold supply chain operations.

The show garnered contribution from leading associations including Asian Institute of Logistics: AIL, Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT), Thai Refrigeration Association, Asia Pacific Logistics Federation, Asosiasi Logistik Indonesia and Myanmar Fruit, Flower & Vegetable Producer & Exporter Association. "Trade Associations are vital to mobilize the sector and to work towards its development. It is encouraging that these industry associations have extended their support. The members have been invited to attend the show in large numbers," concluded Mathur.
