MEC Aerial Work Platforms has appointed Access Platform Sales (APS) as its exclusive distributor for the UK.
The two companies will partner to further grow sales of MEC's specialised access products.
APS will focus on promoting the access platforms in the MEC range, including the award-winning Titan Boom series and MEC's new 6092RT Ultra-Deck, a 20 m (60 ft.) rough-terrain scissor lift.
Richard Tindale, sales and marketing director for IAPS Group, which owns APS, praises the MEC products. "These are high-quality, robust and reliable machines that in many cases are the only available equipment solution of their kind on the market. The MEC range will therefore really complement our existing portfolio of self-propelled access platforms, providing our customers with even wider choice."
The appointment of APS gives MEC's UK customers quick and convenient access to machine pricing, product demonstrations and a comprehensive aftermarket service. Meanwhile, MEC customers in the UK can access the IAPS Group's comprehensive after-sales support services, including its replacement parts service, as well as technical support, a UK-wide network of 23 mobile service engineers and refurbishment or part-exchange of used machines.
APS is already the exclusive UK distributor for Hinowa tracked lifts and compact plant and owns the Hinowa UK brand. It is also an authorised full line Genie distributor and sole UK distributor for Isoli truck mounts, Ommelift, Wienold Lift and Youngman BoSS powered products.
