yale gp080vx code 653-6

Hi everyone! I have a gp080vx It has a gasoline only vortec 4.3 v6. The unit will start and run for two seconds then shuts off. The original problem is that the unit had sat so long with old gas. drained the gas installed new gas and still the same problem.I went into the display and cleared the codes then it ran about 30-45 seconds until codes popped up and then shuts the truck off.If anyone has a manual i would greatly appreciate it. email [url/email removed] the code popping up is a 653-6 and before i erased the code history i believe it was a 654-6,652-6,656-6. The fuel pressure is 58 psi +-5.

sounds like someone was testing the injectors with a test light... all these codes relate to different injectors being shorted to ground.
or the other way to look at it is "you were correct in clearing the codes" as the first step in your troubleshooting....

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
