WM10 Steering/mast fault

Hi all,
lancer boss WM10.1412 MK 1A-1, SER # 96902 YOM 1991
I have got a wm10 with an intermittent steering problem, the assited steering cuts out (mainly when the truck is being driven backwards) you have to reset the key switch and the steering comes back on, the mast speed reduction switches have been disconnected, has anybody got any information / experience on these trucks that they can share.

Fact of the week
The dot-com bubble, a period of large and rapid investments in internet-based companies, peaked in 2000 and saw the Nasdaq Composite index rise by 579%. Then the bubble imploded. As the value of tech stocks plummeted, cash-strapped internet start-ups became worthless and collapsed.
