I hope someone can help me with this.
We have had this machine for many years and it was converted to propane.
The machine was always hard to start but usually after pumping the pedal it would start.
A Couple of months ago it would not start.
We called a local company to fix it and he did get it to start by hitting the primer button and with what looked like ether.
They put a new regulator and lock out on it and it still does the same thing but not with ether. You can push the button and it will fire up and run great. It will fire up easily after the initial crank. The next day or after several hours of sitting you might have to prime the system again.
The machine has great compression and no vacuum leaks.
Someone else told me the fuel lines may be restricted because they are old and could accumulate propane gunk.
The company came back and said replace the throttle cable. It is in need of replacement cable but not the reason it want crank.
Can Anybody help me, I'm not inspired by the last mechanic
