My company bought two of the Jungheinrich EJE 120 US units.
I have had to replace the roll pins (with OEM parts) on the Bell Crank / Compression Rod Pivot pin multiple times on both units. Service manager suggested going to bolts because the roll pins were too hard.
I am now waiting on schematics and a code sheet so I can troubleshoot one of the units. I would have a hard time recommending these for anyone. Also I understand that the software and cable are unavailible to non-dealers

That depends on whereabouts you are in the world - ie. the avialable products and support. For Australia 15 years ago I would have said Crown for all types of walkie. Today if you are looking for a straddle type or Euro type 'cantliver' design truck I would say Linde, however since Linde are now owned by investment bankers who knows what the future holds. If you are looking for a counterbalance walkie probably Crown will have the best product / support where you are, but I would not reccomend anyone to acquire such a unit - you would generally be better with a ride-on 3 wheeler! Reason being the space required to operate tham. If you are looking for pedestrian c/b for budget reasons go for a previously owned ride-on unit instead!

The Jungheinrich product was branded as Multion for several years until about 9 months ago.

Icoo123, Multiton is now owned by Jungheinrich and their full product line is no longer available from any SMO dealer. Jungheinrich is setting up solid dealers across the US to distribute their product. So, Multiton is actually a Jungheinrich, which is an excellent product. Jungheinrich purchased Multiton to give themselves instant credibility in the US and access to some dealers.

Multiton!!?? You can't be serious. Why on earth would anyone want to spend thousands of $$$'s on a generic machine that you can buy out of any SMO catalog??

One word......MULTITON!

Crown is one of the better American walkies. However, if you really want the "best" electric walkie/rider pallet truck look to anything German. Linde and Jungheinrich make the best pallet trucks on the market. About 40% less wearable parts, built from virgin steel (not recycled, which means they will not rust out in a wet application), and all the wire connections and controllers are steam cleanable. However, they are pricey up front and parts tend to cost more money, mostly because the parts also come from German companies like Porsche and Bosch. If you are looking for a good in between truck check the Cat walkie/riders. They are made by Jungheinrich but will actually cost you less than buying a Jungheinrich branded truck.

Crown is hands down the leader. Look at specs on all the units. The Crown weighs the most and still rivals in speed and manuvarbility. Your purchase price may be a little more than the competition but cost of ownership will be less.

Crown for sure.. I have owned the rest and they do not hold up like a Crown.

Yale is a very popular choice, however, if you buy them get ready to replace the built in chargers that the MPB40's have. They tend to drop to the bottom of the battery box after extended use. Also, I don't know if speed is really a determining factor when purchasing a walkie pallet truck.

The Yale MPE electric pallet trucks are outstanding. They have excellent speed, and the power steering is a great option. By far the best on the market. Hands Down!!!

For the record the Clarks are now the PWX & HWX. The X signifies that they are AC powered. Does anyone know where these trucks are now manufactured?.... I do.
