Discussion:
Whats happening with Doosan ?

Heard jungle drums today regarding Doosan Infracore. They are going to be pulling out of the Materials Handling Market to concentrate on other activities.
Will that have an impact on Carrylift ?

Carry Lift seem to be owned by a company called Corporate Acquisitions & investment this company owns plant hire companies who use Doosan equipment. This company seems to be backed by Fred Done from betfred. They look still to be selling Nissan and Hoist equipment

Seoul, South Korea
Doosan Infracore Co is considering selling its forklift business to focus on its construction equipment business and to secure capital for global expansion.

He said the company has 50-55% share of the domestic forklift market.

Fact of the week
The dot-com bubble, a period of large and rapid investments in internet-based companies, peaked in 2000 and saw the Nasdaq Composite index rise by 579%. Then the bubble imploded. As the value of tech stocks plummeted, cash-strapped internet start-ups became worthless and collapsed.
