Clark GCX25E:
Water pumps

Hello All

Just acquired this lift with a blown head gasket. Looking the engine over(Mitsubishi 4G64 LPG), I see that there are 2 water pumps. The one bolted to the front of engine does not have a pulley, therefore, does not turn. Is this right? I know that both water pumps were replaced recently.

Thanks for any information

RC

I guess they did it to have a place to connect the hoses that go to the vaporizer. Seems like the first pumps impeller not turning would restrict flow going to the second pump. Took the head to machine shop yesterday. Overtemp sensor was melted out so I'm worried about it being warped bad

I think that's right. For some reason Clark mounted another water pump on that special bracket and not use the one on the motor.
