Hi, New to the forum so wondering if anyone can help at all.
I have two Linde H2X394W with poor running issues. One Linde has know stopped running completely, it just turns over with black smoke out the exhaust.
P1666 relates to injector 1 : Electronic Malfunction. The comon VW fault is the wiring loom in the engine that feeds each injector. we also replaced the injector. The fault hasnt been rectified. We called out Linde who have said this is a very common fault across this engine range and they don't know how to fix it after these repairs have been done. Has anybody had this fault ? The engineer couldn't access the engine software with his laptop.

And by all means, if it is common rail syatem, do not loosen injector lines or any metal lines for fuel.I have an h45 z that had a lower fuel pump pressure and were replacing lower fuel pump, and replacing all plastic t's in fuel lines with brass t's, And rubber fuel lines, If you replace fuel lines, be sure to only use what is 250 psi for injector systems. Remove right side cover, and right above lower fuel pump is a clear tube. see if fuel is flowing through it. Hope this helps, just trying to give you ideas. for 2 to go down at once could be fuel contamination
Need a tech that can get laptop accessability. His laptop may need to be up graded and that is up to the dealer. Here in texas we have hot spot cappability and I can hook up to a linde and the tech support can read what the truck is doing, and they are a 2000 miles away. You may not have this. get fuel sample. and lower pump pressure
