This truck had multiple codes. It was a intermittent when I operated the unit. Calibrated trans, accelerator to 20%,50 feet on speed.
91-2(126 hits)=Accelerator sensor differential out of range. (A/B)
524265-2 (55 hits)=Trans 4 wire Toss sensor
522713-4 (124 hits) Throttle pedal sensor.
R/R accelerator hall effects & updated worn out pedal shaft. Bushing was worn out causing load on hall eff.
R/R toss sensor. Still got code 524265-2. Found 1 of the red power wires @ hall effects did not have power to it of the 2 red power input feeds. Traced hall eff. harness back to VSM & definitively found a M/F plug half way unplugged. Thought I had it. Checked & have power to both hall eff. red wires. Problem solved? Nope, still get code 524265-2.
Checked for power @ toss 4 wire red wire with test light on battery ground -have power. R/R Toss sensor with another OEM & tiff sensor. Same code. What the $%^& am I missing. Toss sensor is magnetized so I take it my green ground path is good. Pulled & checked every VSM plug. Oh,went in trans diagnostics & checked trans temp sensor. (91degrees) Pulled toss & started truck. Probed white A/B toss output wires & ran a screw driver past sensor. Did not get a output on my light. Maybe I need to use a digital meter for that test? Any input is appreciated.

How does one save the cdf image and transfer it to a new vsm ?
How does one save the cdf image and transfer it to a new vsm ?
redbull is correct, you should have saved the cdf image from the old vsm and loaded it into the new one. OR your hyster buddy can get this for you easily but the new vsm does need to be programmed since it is new.
Jeff,
I am getting this same code 524265-2 on one of our Yale forklifts. I see you are in Wisconsin. My company is located in Milwaukee, WI. How did you end up resolving this code? Are you willing to look at our forklift (if you are in Milwaukee)? Thanks.
Tom

So we finally changed out display & vsm from another truck I have & its been running flawless.
I ordered a new vsm. Came in today. We installed tonight & are trying to get the hypass to work. Any body got advise on dash/vsm configure. We are having problems. I wish I never took this job. Its been a real pain in the ***..
go into dash and check input sensor and output sensor are the same rpm you will properly find the one of the sensor is not reading.if so replace sensor and then calibrate speed sensors. mark out 15m to calibrate
Yes I know a factory hyster tech. We will check the a/b toss pulse on the lap top.
The only code I am getting now is 524265-2. Truck will operate after code is thrown but then no trans braking. Not getting anymore codes @ this time.
I know I did not damage the VSM. I only check the 5 volt signal @ the hall effects.
I am thinking the there is no pulse to the vsm. Because that is the associated code.
Thanks for the advice.
From talking with a Yale service manager /tech he said the display trans hot info is normal for that code.
Have you ran a test on the canbus? These are strange codes to be coming up at the same time. The signal from the toss is a square wave signal. Never use a test light on solid state trucks. Use a digital VOM. The toss is supplied 5 volts from the VSM if you bridge 12 volts with a test light you can damage the VSM. Do you have access to the factory software? You can check the square wave from the toss with the software.
