Discussion:
Unit Won’t crank code d000 showing on cluster

I have a hyster h60xt (serial#A380v08699t) that won't crank over. Originally the battery was dead test battery and found it was junk. Put new battery on but as soon the ignition goes on the cluster beeps and set code d000 and the unit won't do anything. All fuses look good, jumped starter relay and the unit starts up but no functions are available and it won't shift forward or reverse.

Yes, I second this also if the truck powers on you can connect to it with PCST and go under truck information and check the engine type. Most the time it will show it has a diesel but really it has a Lp. Note they are also notorious for throwing a speed sensor code and there is a jumper installed in the connector and where the sensor would go is plugged off. Hope this helps!

hello friends!
The Hyster XT and Yale MX, they have a problem with the lack of battery power, probably the VCU module file has a corrupt CDF file

These units are also notorious for having a scrambled CDF file in it after a battery replacement. If you can connect to the unit and check under the truck information you can look to see what kind of engine. 9 times out of 10 it will say it has a diesel in it not a LP if that is the case. Normally when this happens the unit will start and run but will not accelerate due to a speed sensor code. It is worth a shot just to see what happens.

Gus,

Code is for tilt sensor. Check sensor, wire harness and connectors. If you have a sister truck swap sensor. Not sure this is the start problem. This should prevent transmission engagement and hydraulic operation. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
